News 16 January 2026Mechan International welcomes Agri Ravagnolo Srl., one of Italy’s largest AGCO-dealers.

With the acquisition of a majority stake in Agri Ravagnolo Srl., Mechan International further strengthens its position in the Italian agricultural market.

Strong family business

Agri Ravagnolo Srl. is an Italian family-owned company with more than forty years of experience in agricultural mechanisation. Operating from four strategically located branches in north-eastern Italy and supported by a team of over 50 specialised employees, Agri Ravagnolo has grown into one of the largest AGCO-dealers in Italy.

The company offers an extensive range of Fendt and Massey Ferguson tractors and implements, supported by a strong service organisation. The company specialises in areas such as viticulture and precision farming (PTx Trimble). After-sales services, spare parts supply, on-site and in-house technical support, as well as financing solutions through AGCO Finance form an important and growing part of the business.

Continuity and entrepreneurship at the core

The company remains firmly anchored in the family and management team that has built Agri Ravagnolo into what it is today. The existing shareholders remain involved, and day-to-day management continues unchanged. The entire team will remain with the company, ensuring full continuity in service, expertise and customer relationships.

Eros Ravagnolo, CEO of Agri Ravagnolo Srl., comments: “For our customers and employees, Agri Ravagnolo will remain the trusted partner they know. This partnership gives us the opportunity to further invest in service, innovation and modern agricultural solutions, while preserving our local commitment and family values. In this way, we can continue to support our customers optimally, both today and in the future.”

A strong AGCO network in Italy

With the addition of Agri Ravagnolo, a cohesive AGCO-dealer network is formed together with Agri-Verde and Busato in northern Italy, generating a combined turnover of over €100 million in 2025. Serving adjacent regions, strengths are further combined, enabling the exchange of best practices and specialist expertise. This cooperation enhances operational efficiency, knowledge sharing and service quality across the network, ultimately benefiting customers throughout the region.

Ronald Slaats, CEO of Mechan International: “Italy has an agricultural sector of a very high international standard, characterised by craftsmanship and innovation. Through this collaboration with Agri Ravagnolo Srl., we are able to support customers even better with additional knowledge, capacity and modern solutions, while maintaining the familiar local approach and personal contact.”
